I had a lovely time visiting Autism Together’s free summer events for local families at Bromborough Pool Cafe and Shop.
I missed out on the mocktails, but did experience Jac’s Disco, see the guinea pig village and goats, and have a look around the growing space.
Chief Executive Angie Kemp also showed me around the wider site, including the former Bromborough Pool Village School, built in 1899 and now used for day services, and the neighbouring historic chapel, where music and media sessions take place.
A big thank you to Angie and everyone at Autism Together for making me so welcome.
