Following boundary changes at the 2024 General Election, I am now the MP for Ellesmere Port and Bromborough.  

I live in Little Sutton with my family and was for many years before my election a local councillor in Ellesmere Port.

Before entering Parliament, I had a career in employment law, defending the rights of working people to be treated fairly and with dignity at work, I was first elected Labour MP for Ellesmere Port and Neston in May 2015.
