I went along to learn how to make sausages under the expert guidance of master butcher Dave Robinson from Robinson Nicholls King – a relatively new addition to the new-look Ellesmere Port Market, which has officially opened.
I think I’ll be sticking to politics in future!
The business is a butcher’s, deli and greengrocer’s run by long-time mates Dave, the butcher of the outfit, alongside Mike Nicholls and Pete King, who are both chefs by trade.
When the market’s previous butcher retired, the trio spotted an opportunity to create something special.
It’s a great combination and the business is already doing so well that they’re hoping to expand in the not-too-distant future.
