There was a wonderful atmosphere at the Mid Summer Party at Delamere Community Centre in Eastham.
It’s heart-warming to see people coming together to enjoy good food, good company and good fun.
Among the guests was Barbara, who was treated to a cake and flowers after recently celebrating a special birthday.
A huge thank you to Diana and her amazing team of volunteers for laying on a fantastic lunch, with a singer and raffle too.
I even had a go at being a waiter – although I’m not sure I’ll be asked back!
The party brought together people from the centre’s Light Bites Lunch and Wonderful Wednesday groups, with other activities taking place throughout the year.
