Great to see pupils from Heygarth Primary School in Eastham enjoying their recent visit to Parliament, even though train disruption meant I couldn’t meet them as planned.
I was, however, delighted to receive the letters they brought for me after learning about children’s rights, climate change and other important issues. I was really impressed by the passion and thought that had gone into them.
I hope everyone enjoyed exploring the Palace of Westminster, learning about Parliament and even having the chance to stand at the Government Despatch Box in the House of Commons!
