The alleyway off Napier Road in New Ferry has become a fly-tipping hotspot.
Thankfully, the latest rubbish has now been cleared after it was reported by residents and my office. Thank you to the council staff who removed it, although it’s frustrating their time has to be spent clearing up after such anti-social behaviour.
I’ve highlighted problems at this location on several occasions, most recently in May on behalf of residents concerned about the health and infestation risks. We now need a lasting solution so people living nearby don’t have to keep putting up with this ongoing nuisance.
