Congratulations to everyone from across Ellesmere Port and Bromborough recognised in the King’s Birthday Honours.

Josh McDermott, Commanding Officer of Ellesmere Port Sea Cadets, was awarded an MBE for his service to young people. Frances Blackburne, from Ellesmere Port, received a BEM for services to nursing and elderly care. Cllr Peter Wheeler, who represents Ledsham and Manor ward, received an OBE for political service.
John Morris Jones received an MBE for services to the heavy goods vehicle and logistics industry.
