I had a lovely afternoon speaking with guests at the pensioners’ Christmas lunch I hosted at Whitby Sports and Social Club.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success. It was a wonderful example of our community coming together and making Christmas a little brighter.
The generosity of Ellesmere Port councillors and local businesses made the event possible, alongside the hard work of the club staff, DJ Karl Jones, the Fireflies Choir and my brilliant team. Special thanks to CLP secretary Sue Pugh and Cllr Paul Donovan for their help on the day.
