I recently visited the brand-new Great Sutton Medical Centre – opening at the end of October 2025 just across the road from the current practice, but offering much more space and opportunity.
This isn’t just about bigger rooms or modern facilities – it’s about a whole-person, whole-community approach to health. With space for an onsite pharmacy, gym, therapies, seated coffee area, and more, it brings care and wellbeing together under one roof.
Surrounded by new amenities like a village hall, scout HQ, sports fields, and allotments, it’s set to become the beating heart of the community.
Huge thanks to Drs Caroline Francey and Andrew McAlavey, and James Duckers, for the tour. It’s fantastic to see this centre delivering on the Government’s 10-Year NHS Plan – combining great care with ways to help people live healthier, happier lives.
