Ellesmere Port mum Claire Anderson came to visit me to support Government’s upcoming introduction of statutory bereavement leave for parents who experience miscarriage before 24 weeks.
Claire has sadly lost two sons, Joseph and Samuel, during separate pregnancies. She now dedicates her time to supporting other families through baby loss and grief.
Each year, Claire, who is also mum to Melissa (7), Ellie (15) and Stephen (14), organises a local memorial service as part of the global Wave of Light event during Baby Loss Awareness Week (October 9–15).
️This year’s service will be held on Wednesday, October 15 at Trinity Methodist Church, Whitby Road, Ellesmere Port.
