Justin Madders, MP for Ellesmere Port and Neston, has joined the new
‘All Party Parliamentary Group for Single Parent Families’ whose motto is ‘standing up for Single Parent Families because every family counts.’
Justin said:
“In Ellesmere Port and Neston there are over 3,000 single parent families who face unique challenges and are often overlooked by legislators.
“It is clear that the lack of genuine recognition and appropriate support for single parent families is a critical and increasingly important issue. It needs urgent cross-party action and I’ll be working to make sure the voices of single parents are heard in Parliament until the appropriate changes are underway.”
