National Postal Workers Day

Monday, 12th December marks the celebration of National Postal Workers Day and highlights the vital role played in communities across the UK by postmen and women who collect, sort and deliver to 29 million UK addresses six days a week, 52 weeks a year.

Justin said:

"The day’s events celebrate the hard work of postal workers and acknowledge the critical role they play in our local communities and I would like to personally thank all those who do such a great job in Ellesmere Port and Neston.

“It’s amazing to think that for less than the price of a cup of tea you can post a letter in Cornwall today and have it arrive in Scotland tomorrow. It’s a wonderful human and logistical effort that should be celebrated and protected.

“National Postal Workers Day is a chance for businesses and customers across the UK to thank their local postmen and postwomen for their efforts across the year.”
