MP furious at Redrow disregard for Highway Safety

On learning of the application that Redrow have made to Cheshire West and Chester Council to delay the necessity for them to construct highway safety measures at the junction of Ledsham Road and the A550, Welsh Road, Justin said:

“The never ending saga of Redrow’s planning application for 2000 homes at the Land off Ledsham Road in Little Sutton continues.

Planning consent had been given to Redrow with conditions applied to ensure minimal disruption to existing local residents and to implement safety measures with regards to highways and drainage etc. I am angry that Redrow have ridden roughshod over local residents, created chaos on Ledsham Road and are so arrogant they haven't even replied to my letters!

Redrow want to get out of making the junction improvements in a timely fashion - something that Highways England insisting on when the consent was given. Residents in Little Sutton deserve much better treatment and the safety of our road users should be non-negotiable. It’s about time Redrow started treating local people with a little more respect.”
