Justin Madders, MP for Ellesmere Port and Neston, was delighted to meet representatives from Guide Dogs at a recent Parliamentary event.
“It was good to have the opportunity to meet Guide Dog owners and learn of their problems first hand. Cars parked on pavements blight the lives of people living with sight loss and other vulnerable road users including wheelchair users and parents with buggies or prams. Imagine how frightening it must be to step out into a busy road when you can't see on-coming traffic, or you have your young child with you.
“I urge everyone in Ellesmere Port and Neston to think of others and only park on the pavement when there really is no alternative.”
