Justin Madders MP will be outside ASDA on Saturday 11th February from 10.30am until about 1pm collecting food donations for the West Cheshire Foodbank. This will be the 3rd time he has encouraged residents and shoppers to spare an item of food - tins or packets, to help stock the local foodbank.
"It is scandalous that in modern Britain there is a need for food banks like this but being angry about it doesn’t change the fact that without this help many local people would suffer greatly.
Demand for food parcels has increased massively over the last few years which is why we are holding another food collection day – to help keep the Foodbank stocked. The people of Ellesmere Port have been very generous in the past and I’m sure they will rise to the challenge again to help those who have fallen on hard times."
