A large gathering of local Labour activists turned out to officially launch Justin Madders’ campaign to become Ellesmere Port & Neston’s new Member of Parliament and to open his campaign headquarters in Ellesmere Port.

Following a cup of tea and a short speech from Justin, the supporters took to the streets to campaign on the doorstep, with hundreds of local residents contacted.

The office, at 235 Whitby Road, Ellesmere Port, will serve as a meeting point for campaign sessions and all supporters are welcome to attend if they would like to help with Justin’s campaign.

Speaking at the launch, Justin said:

“At the heart of this campaign is thousands of conversations between local people. I’ve been joining activists and supporters on the doorstep, week-in, week-out, speaking with local residents about issues that matter to them.

I’m delighted to launch the campaign office and I hope that it will be a hive of activity in the coming weeks as the campaign continues to gather momentum.”
