Working Hard for Ellesmere Port & Neston

30 June 2015

A busy weekend in the constituency with plenty of activities going on. It was my pleasure to open the Little Sutton Community Fayre on Saturday which had a good turnout and was all the more impressive for having been organised by the community themselves in a relatively short space of time. I also attended the Sutton Green Primary School Summer Fayre and the open day at Joseph Groome Towers where I saw some impressive feats by people abseiling down the towers to raise funds for the Salvation Army. I then visited the Armed Forces event in the town centre where there were lots of displays from the various organisations that make up and support the armed forces.

I also visited Whitby High School as part of their send a friend to school day. Children at the school have written many messages to the Prime Minister about the need to support children all over the world in attending school.
